What the manufacturers currently claim
Aiper lists the current Scuba S1 for in-ground pools up to 1,600 sq ft, up to 180 minutes of runtime, 4,200 GPH flow and compatibility with concrete, fiberglass, vinyl and tile. WYBOT lists the 2026 C2 Vision for pools up to 2,152 sq ft, up to 180 minutes in Eco Mode, 3,883 GPH performance and the same broad surface compatibility.
Those numbers make the C2 Vision look larger on paper, while the Scuba S1 advertises a slightly higher flow rate. Neither number alone tells you how well a robot will handle your steps, benches, waterline geometry or debris mix.
Navigation and cleaning style
The C2 Vision is differentiated by its camera/AI positioning and targeted-cleaning mode. The Scuba S1 instead emphasizes WavePath navigation and a more conventional autonomous cleaning workflow. If you want a simpler appliance-like robot, that difference may favor Aiper; if you want a more feature-led platform, WYBOT has the stronger pitch.
Filtration is a major buying criterion
Aiper lists a 180-micron basket plus a 3-micron MicroMesh ultra-fine filter configuration. WYBOT markets dual-layer filtration on the C2 line. For owners dealing with fine dust, pollen or silt, filtration can matter more than a small difference in headline coverage.
How to choose
Choose around your actual pool dimensions, surface, wall slope, step geometry and debris. A robot that is oversized on paper but struggles with your pool shape is not a better purchase. Use our pool-volume and ownership-cost tools alongside manufacturer specifications before buying.
