Liquid Chlorine Dose Calculator

Estimate a liquid-chlorine dose from pool gallons, target ppm increase and sodium-hypochlorite strength.

Estimated dose: —

How the estimate works

As a practical approximation, one gallon of X% sodium hypochlorite raises 10,000 gallons by about X ppm. Dose gallons = pool gallons ÷ 10,000 × desired ppm ÷ product strength. Always verify the product label, current free chlorine and stabilizer level, then retest after circulation.
