How the estimate works
Rectangular pools use length × width × average depth × 7.48052 gallons per cubic foot. Oval and round pools use the area of an ellipse/circle, equivalent to multiplying the rectangular footprint by π/4. Irregular pools should be split into simpler shapes or measured from builder documentation.
